What did you wish your 14+ truck had but never got?

I got a new 2015 Silverado and I wanted one with a few things that I seen in other vehicles that I wanted, I went and built my truck and got it last year and by having it about a year, I seen how there's room to add some really useful features, There is a few things that I wished my 2015 Silverado had as options but I did with out it because its not on the GM trucks. I bought a Silverado because I liked the styling and the interior over the ram and the ford.

 

I wish my 2015 had...

-Auto up and down all windows......Should be standard anyways

-Push button start

-Tri-Zone automatic climate control

-Reconfigurable LCD display (similar to Denali's )

-Side blind zone alert

- A plug in outlet in the bed

-Active aero grille shutters .....This should improve fuel economy by a little

-Diesel 1500 engine for ex 4.5L ....I don't do any towing but it should give good fuel economy.

 

I thought the 2016 update would of at least featured a couple of these features but never, But Led headlights and taillights are great. Also I don't know how come they never done this.

-Aluminum bumpers and tailgate.....to save some weight and so it wont rust or get chipped up

- Pre wired for auxiliary lighting (led light bars, ect)

 

For some higher up models

- Heated windshield wipers.

-Heads up Display

-Heated rear seats

-Twin panel sunroof

-Surround vision

-Terrain modes selector

-Night Vision system

 

Now probably I wouldn't have all this options because it probably be expensive to add to the cost, I'm sure not everyone agrees with some of these options but it be nice to have it there so if you did want it, its there to add.

 

How come or why isn't GM isn't using the Quadra steer rear end again? I thought it was a good idea but it was expensive at the time.

 

What did you wish your 2014+ Silverado or Sierra had? Or wish your next truck has?

I would trade all those options for a one piece roll down rear window like the Tundras ;p

It's odd that they withhold existing GM features from these trucks, as if truck guys don't want them. Auto windows, keyless entry/ignition, and rear HVAC in crew cabs for example.

Yeah but If your paying like 55-60k for a pickup id want one fully loaded. And GM sells just as many high end models than lower ones. Like this is the 21 centry....

Yes, That actually would be nice. Often times I forgot I left mine in 4wd and I thought I was in 2wd

I would also like chrome trim around the rear door speakers (like the front) and a pull out cupholder on the rear of the console like my old GMT900 had.

HAZARD LIGHT BUTTON in the middle of the freaking dashboard, just like the one I have in my freaking '06 Colorado; if you made the improvement for a truck that came to public 12 years ago, why not promote those freaking good ideas to the newest generations and GMs big brother?

Fog lamps should be an option on ALL trims. I want an LS badge for the tailgate. Right now its just a Silverado...no trim stated. And body color door handles on all trims as a standard.

Yes, In my opinion halogen Fogs should be standard on all trims and LED fogs should be optional. I cant express how much about body colored handles. I wanted them but I had to either get chrome or flat black.
